Student Debate: 2010 Midterm Elections

Next Tuesday, September 28th, Student Life and the Washington University Political Review are hosting an Oxford-style debate centering on the midterm elections at 8 pm in College Hall. The resolution to be debated will be “Resolved: Based on the merit of President Obama’s legislative record, the Democrats deserve to maintain control of Congress” and it will be argued by two teams consisting of two students each. In support of the resolution will be Sophie Adelman and David Cohen and opposing it will be Kirsten Miller and Nick Wilbar.
