The P'yongyang Project is an organization that strives to promote
academic cooperation and cultural exchange between the US and
North Korea.
Every summer we organize "Delegation Programs" that bring American
students and professors to North Korea. First and foremost these
programs encourage Americans to interact with the North Korean
people---including university professors, military officials,
heads of agricultural communes, North Korean locals---and learn
about North Korea through first-hand experience. We believe that
by actually engaging the country and seeing what it is like
from the inside we can lay a foundation for peace between the US
and North Korea.
