SIR Journal of International Relations Soliciting Undergrad Submissions

The Sigma Iota Rho (SIR) Journal of International Relations is
soliciting submissions from undergraduate students for the 2011
edition of the Journal that will be printed and distributed in
April 2011.

  • The Journal aims to publish manuscripts relevant to the theory and practice of international relations including articles covering economics, political science, history, area studies, and current events.
  • Authors must be current undergraduate students, and all work must be original.
  • Papers must be between 2,000 and 6,000 words in length.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents (.doc format) that are double-spaced and typed in 12 point Times New Roman with proper citations and 1 inch margins.
  • Articles must include a title, a 200-word maximum length abstract, and a brief biography, indicating whether or not the author is a member of Sigma Iota Rho (all of which must appear in the Word document).
  • Include the following personal information on the front cover page: name, email, telephone number, affiliated institution.
  • Submissions with charts, graphs, or other pertinent illustrations are acceptable.

Submissions for the 2011 Edition of the Journal
are due on or before January 17th, 2011.
