Vice Chancellor Smith ran for Congress in 1994 and has worked on a number of political races. Despite raising about a quarter of a million dollars, receiving the endorsements of governmental and political leaders, and receiving the endorsement of the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Mark lost his bid for congress. He will talk about how to get involved, what you need to be doing now for a later run, and what to expect in a race.
