Good Morning,
The Sonoma County Economic Development Board (EDB) will be recruiting for its Program Development Internship in January 2011. The Program Development Internship provides recent college graduates with a remarkable opportunity to gain practical experience and make substantive contributions in program development, policy analysis, project management, and research in the field of economic development.
We will send a formal announcement and application in late January for five full-time, paid Program Development Internships, all of which run from July 15, 2011 through June 30, 2012. Please publicize this opportunity by forwarding this announcement to your graduating seniors. Interns will coordinate one of five programs: Tourism, Green Business, Workforce and Youth Development, Business Environmental Alliance and Economic Research.
This program is a particularly valuable opportunity for students graduating with degrees in the liberal arts, economics, political science, or public policy. Students with research and report experience are particularly encouraged to consider the position. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree by the start of the positions. Applicants currently pursuing or holding advanced degrees will not be considered.
