Missouri House Democratic Campaign Committee Internship

Available: Fall Internship with the Missouri State House Democrat Campaign Committee (HDCC)

The HDCC is the chief political, fundraising, and electioneering arm of the Democratic caucus of the Missouri State House and its house candidates. We assist with all parts of the campaign process –this includes legislative research, fundraising and grass roots campaigning– and coordinate all Democratic house races in the state.

We are looking for undergraduates or recent graduates to intern for the November special election.  Interns will be focused on helping Paul Woody get elected in the 15th district, which is in the St. Louis area.  Internship responsibilities include assisting with candidate needs, fundraising, using NGP and other campaign software, writing various materials and canvassing.  Many of our interns have gone on to work on or manage campaigns and to work in other political organizations.

Anyone interested in Democratic politics or campaigns is encouraged to apply. Campaign or hands-on political experience is not required. The internship is unpaid but may be taken for political science course credit.

If interested, please e-mail your resume and a short statement of interest to jodymmurphy@me.com with the word “INTERN” in the subject line.

If you have any questions please call Jody Murphy at (405)202-4252.
