William Wheeler, a journalist with the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting, will discuss the plight of African laborers trapped in Libya after the fall of the Qaddafi regime this coming Tuesday. Wheeler, who covered the aftermath of the Libyan revolution, was among the first to report in detail the story of the guest workers, mainly from sub-Sahara Africa, who found themselves trapped between a nation that no longer wanted them and a Europe Union determined to block their attempts to migrate.
