RE: Paid Summer Internships in DC, New York, Chicago
The Roosevelt Institute Campus Network is accepting applications for fellowship positions in DC, New York, and Chicago. As members of the 2012 Summer Academy, students are guaranteed an internship with a respected government agency or non-profit organization. Fellows also participate in a mixed curriculum of policy research and implementation, leadership training, and professional development. All accepted students receive a minimum $1,500 stipend.
Regular Decision applications are due Feb 29, 2012. Those wishing to firm up their summer plans sooner may apply Early Action (deadline Feb 15). To apply or to find out more information about the various programs in each city, please go to www.RooseveltCampusNetwork.org/ApplyAcademy12.
The program is a great way to spend a summer. From June 8 to August 12, you get to discover a new city and make friends and connections with people who are passionate about making a difference in the world. Past internship placements include the US Department of Education, the Brookings Institute, Chicago Public Schools, and Human Rights Campaign.
