Sigma Iota Rho, the International and Area Studies Honorary, presents its biannual town hall panel discussion on Kim Jong-il: Amibition, Secrecy, Legacy. SIR’s Town Halls bring in speakers who can discuss issues of international relevance. This Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 pm, our panel will explore the legacy of Kim Jong-il on North Koreans and on international politics. Free dinner is provided, and the event is in Louderman 458.
Our panel will also look at the work of LiNK, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that advocates on the behalf of North Korean refugees and provides aid for resettling refugees. Find more information at http://www.linkglobal.org/index.html.
